Courtyard by Marriott Mississauga Airport Corporate Centre West is a recently renovated 94 room select service property. We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Manager to join our team and support the great work our housekeeping team does.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Housekeeping Manager will oversee and support the daily operations of the housekeeping department. This position requires high visibility and the desire to interact with team members and guests while performing floor shifts. The Housekeeping Manager will coach and lead the team to implement and inspire the highest standards of cleanliness and quality, while following Marriott brand standards to ensure a memorable stay for our guests. Other duties include preparing weekly payroll, responding promptly to guest concerns, purchasing, inventory management, budgeting, responding to lost and found inquires, and assisting with administrative duties.
As our ideal candidate, you will have 2 years managerial experience, preferably with a hospitality perspective. The successful candidate will bring exemplary attention to detail, problem solving skills, and a strong focus on team-building. Exceptional communication and guest service skills are a must. This position requires the ability to work a varied schedule that can have varied start and end times as well as days, evenings, holidays and weekend shifts.
