HOUSEKEEPING MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department and ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained. The Executive Housekeeper will manage a team of housekeeping staff and work closely with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department. * Manage a team of housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling. * Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained. * Develop and implement cleaning procedures and standards. * Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. * Work closely with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure guest satisfaction. * Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. * Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations. * Prepare and manage departmental budget. REQUIREMENTS: * High school diploma or equivalent * Prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality management * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong leadership and management skills * Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. * Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
