Accredited by The Joint Commission, Hudson Behavioral Health is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization providing Behavioral Health Treatment in Salisbury, Maryland. Since its inception in 1980, Hudson Behavioral Health has been providing cutting edge treatment for Substance Use and other co-occurring disorders. Our services include Detoxification, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Partial Hospitalization, Treatment, 3.1 Housing and Outpatient Services. The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for all daily activities of the housekeeping department. This is a Full Time M-F position. Responsibilities: Planning, organizing, and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of patient satisfaction and high standard of cleanliness consistent with licensure and accreditation. To monitor, check and maintain standards daily. Daily supervision of housekeeping staff. Purchase, order and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory. Recruit, schedule and train all new housekeeping staff members. Attend all meetings applicable to the Environment of Care venue. Manage the housekeeping schedule. Monitor and maintain good working relations with suppliers for linen and general disposal of clinical waste. Ensure distribution of linens are within the continuum of care and done correctly by the staff. Report any maintenance problems observed either in patients’ bedrooms or around the continuum of care immediately to the Maintenance Manager or Director of Environmental Services, making sure that all the bedrooms and other rooms are in fully working order before being allocated to a patient. Maintain a professional and helpful attitude while on duty towards patients, consultants, and visitors. To liaise with all the other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the continuum of care. Ensure that the housekeeping staff always wear the correct uniform and name badges while on duty.
