Description
Job Location: Avani+ Hua Hin Resort & Villas At Avani, we’re all about finding that perfect balance — between cool and kind, design and function, service and privacy. We’ve built our hotels and resorts around this philosophy: vibrant social spaces that vibe with the day, stylish rooms that simply work, and honest, locally inspired food. We embrace an upbeat service culture that genuinely respects the art of hospitality. With a growing portfolio across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Australia, Avani is a brand on the move. If you take real pride in the little things — and believe that a warm welcome and a genuine smile make all the difference — you’ll fit right in here. The Housekeeping Manager oversees the daily housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet brand standards for cleanliness and presentation. This role leads and develops the housekeeping team, manages schedules and inventory, controls departmental costs, ensures compliance with health and safety standards, and works closely with other departments to deliver an excellent guest experience. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas meet hotel cleanliness, hygiene, and brand standards. Lead, supervise, coach, and develop the housekeeping team to achieve high performance and productivity. Prepare staff schedules and allocate manpower according to business needs. Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions to maintain quality standards. Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations. Monitor room status and ensure timely room readiness for arriving guests. Manage housekeeping inventories, including linen, uniforms, guest supplies, and cleaning chemicals. Control departmental expenses, labor costs, and operating supplies within the approved budget. Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards. Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related complaints promptly and professionally. Prepare departmental reports, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Support employee engagement, training, and succession planning within the department. Drive guest satisfaction by maintaining exceptional housekeeping standards and service quality.
