Job Summary Manages housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas are clean, well maintained, and aligned with Marriott standards. Implements daily operations, team performance, and service delivery to ensure guest and employee satisfaction while managing departmental operations within budget. Conducts inspections, ensures compliance with standards, and holds team members accountable for corrective actions.   Educations and Experience • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 5+ years work experience in international hospitality brands • Conversational fluency in Japanese language is an added advantage   Key Responsibilities Managing Housekeeping Operations and Department Performance •Conduct daily Housekeeping shift operations and ensure compliance with policies and LSOPs •Ensure guest room status is communicated to the Front Office in a timely and accurate manner •Inspect guestrooms, public areas, and employee areas on a daily basis •Prepare rosters and manage shift schedules to ensure efficient staffing and coverage •Assign work based on room priorities including arrivals, departures, and occupied rooms •Maintain an effective inspection program and ensure corrective actions are implemented •Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate supplies, equipment, and uniforms are available •Communicate operational priorities and areas of concern clearly to team members •Understand impact of Housekeeping operations on overall hotel performance and manage to achieve budgeted goals   Managing Financial Performance and Cost Control •Manage departmental budget and control operational costs •Monitor expenses and productivity in line with financial objectives •Review budget versus actual performance and identify variances •Implement corrective actions to address discrepancies and improve efficiency   Conducting Human Resource Activities •Train team members using on-the-job training tools and provide ongoing development support •Monitor Attendance •Ensure staffing levels meet operational needs and financial targets •Maintain open communication and positive working relationships with team members •Provide feedback on performance and support continuous improvement •Drive employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives   Managing Brand Standards and Guest Experience •Ensure cleanliness and presentation meet Marriott brand standards across all areas •Monitor and support Guest Satisfaction Index (GuestVoice) performance •Participate in development and implementation of corrective action plans to improve guest satisfaction •Respond to guest concerns and ensure timely resolution   Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service •Maintain a strong focus on service quality and continuous improvement •Set a positive example for guest relations and service delivery •Drive a service culture aligned with brand expectations •Empower team members to deliver excellent guest service •Emphasize guest satisfaction in daily operations and team interactions   Additional Responsibilities Duties and responsibilities are not limited to the above scope and may extend based on business requirements, requiring to perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management.
