Responsibilities
  • Heading up and managing the full Bredenbury Court Barns Housekeeping Team, including the venue and onsite accommodation.
  • Staff supervision, training and recruitment.
  • Completing Rota’s, Stock control and orders.
  • You will be the direct line manager of all housekeeping staff, who will report any absences/holidays directly to you.
  • Adhere and adapt where needed to Health and Safety policies. Ensuring a neat well organised work place for staff.
  • Working within the team cleaning the venue and venues bedrooms and public areas to a high standard and providing each staff member full training.
  • Order and prepare continental breakfast for guests staying within the accommodation. (food hygiene certificate will be provided via training course)
  • Reporting any maintenance issues in line with procedures.
  • Look, discuss and implement ways to improve guests stays.
  • Work to improve productivity and efficiency of room cleaning.
  • Plan and resource materials required to meet requirements.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with GM, Estate Team, Events Team and suppliers to ensure clear communication and implementations of best practice.
  • Liase with the linen supplier, arranging collections and deliveries.
  • Working with the Assistant Housekeeping Manager in a formation of 4 staff members per shift, providing support where needed
