BallyCara is currently seeking a dedicated Casual cleaner to join our housekeeping team in Residential Aged Care.
About the Role
As a housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the comfort, hygiene, and wellbeing of our residents. Working within our aged care facility, you’ll ensure a high standard of cleanliness across residents’ private rooms, communal spaces, staff areas, and our on-site laundry. Your contribution will directly impact the daily quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning resident rooms and bathrooms
• Maintaining cleanliness of common areas, staff kitchens, and office spaces
• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and general surface cleaning
• Rubbish disposal and linen handling
• Assisting in the Residential laundry
• Adhering to infection control and workplace health and safety procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

• Willingness to obtain a National Police Certificate (via BallyCara)
• Minimum of two COVID-19 vaccination
• Current Influenza vaccination (desirable)
• Australian working rights
• Ability to pass a pre-employment functional assessment
