With 367 rooms, ibis Styles Brisbane is one of the largest hotels in Brisbane City. We are bright, colourful, stylish and are looking for Part-Time Housekeeping Room Attendants to join the team.
Job Description

Working as part of a friendly and welcoming team, your role will include the following duties:

  • Clean guest rooms, storage areas and corridors as allocated to the required standard and in time allocated
  • Ensure guest supplies and advertising material in bedrooms and bathrooms are replenished to the correct standards for the room type.
  • Report any lost property following correct procedures
  • Carry out programmed / regular cleaning duties as allocated.

Qualifications

  • Previous hotel housekeeping experience is desirable
  • Friendly nature, willing to communicate with guests
  • Conversational English is highly preferred as you will be talking to guests and taking instructions.
  • Good mobility to ensure clean and tidy rooms for guests in the allocated timeframe.
  • This role involves manual labour, heavy lifting and constant repetitive actions, all in a fast paced environment. A moderate level of fitness is required to be successful in this rewarding role.
  • Full Australian Working Rights are Essential
