POSITION SUMMARY:

The Housekeeping / Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation in guest rooms and public areas. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to hotel standards, and a commitment to providing a welcoming environment for guests.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping within a hotel or similar environment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and time-management skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods.
  • Clean, neat, & hygienic.
  • Capacity to lift and carry items up to 20 kg.

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)

Responsibilities
  • Room Cleaning & Maintenance
  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, vacuuming, dusting, and mopping floors.
  • Clean bathrooms thoroughly, replenishing toiletries and amenities as per hotel standards.
  • Remove trash and replace liners.
  • Guest Comfort & Service
  • Ensure rooms are well-stocked with towels, toiletries, and other amenities.
  • Arrange room furnishings to maintain a neat and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously.
  • Reporting & Documentation
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and damaged or missing items to the supervisor immediately.
  • Log and hand over any lost and found items according to hotel policy.
  • Stock & Equipment Management
  • Maintain a well-stocked housekeeping trolley with linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
  • Use cleaning equipment properly and report any faults.
  • Store chemicals safely in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Compliance & Standards
  • Follow hotel’s hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Adhere to brand standards for cleanliness and presentation.
  • Respect guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
