About the role: Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper ,as the Housekeeping Room Attendant, you are at the forefront of creating and executing memorable experiences for our guests by giving the ‘wow’ factor. It’s the moment that guests walk into the hotel and receive a great first impression, then enter their bedrooms and think, ‘wow this looks Wonderful’ N Spotless.
You will be working in a closely knit team where a “Yes And Do” attitude and ensemble-orientation is an absolute must. As a Remarkable Room Attendant, you know that cleanliness and comfort are the most important things we can offer our guests. You go above and beyond to ensure our guest rooms are always spotlessly clean

REQUIREMENTS:

  • The ideal Guest Room Attendant will have at least 1-2 years of experience in hotel housekeeping
  • Hilton hotels experience an asset
  • Flexibility to work in weekends (This is a per-requisite for this job)
  • Spidey sense on dirt and dust spotting . An obsession for neatness and cleanliness
  • Standing/walking for extended periods; ability to sit, crouch, twist, reach, bend and lift upto 35lbs occasionally
  • Regular attendance is essential to the successful performance of this position
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, crouching, reaching overhead, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity
  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests and supervisors

Responsibilities
  • Your day starts with a HK coffee team meet- Your manager will provide with your room assignments, guest feedback will be shared, any VIP arrivals/guest requests will be shared with you
  • You magically scrub, sanitize, dust, mop, use appropriate cleaning chemicals, remove dirty linen/garbage and vacuum our guest rooms until they sparkle. You straighten, move, close and arrange everything in the room into its perfect spot
  • You are a marvel at bed making and meticulously restock every guest room with supplies as per brand standards
  • You make sure everything in the room is working as it should and if not, you quickly report any issues that need maintenance attention or repair
  • You are our room genie. You methodically load your housekeeping cart with the supplies you need each day, everything has a place
  • You make sure your vacuums, equipment’s and linen closets are cleaned/stocked and maintained as per requirements
  • Be knowledgeable of policies regarding emergency procedures, safety, security rules and procedures
  • Ensure protection of guests’ room numbers and policies regarding guest room access procedures
  • Assist other housekeeping associates in maintaining clean and organized work and public areas
  • Other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper
