Windsor Arms Hotel has an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping Team. Must be available to work on Saturday and Sunday.
Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that each guest room is impeccably serviced and organized while ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay for our guests.
Responsibilities:
*Clean guest suites to the highest standards by priority and as assigned by the Front Desk Manager.
*Change bed linens and make-up beds; work in a professional manner with great attention to detail. Dust all surfaces including furniture, light fixtures and baseboards.
*Thoroughly clean washrooms, including shower stalls, bathtubs, toilets, sinks; sweep and mop floors.
*Clean all floors by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
*Attend to guests’ requests for extra amenities.
*Maintain and keep housekeeping carts fully stocked and clean.
*Label and submit all lost and found items according to hotel standards.
*Report any exceptional and/or unusual circumstances, such as no luggage in a stay-over room, no service needed, guests smoking in rooms, etc. to the Front Desk Manager on duty.
*Complete special housekeeping projects as assigned by Front Desk Manager.
Qualifications:
*Minimum 2 years housekeeping experience at a luxury hotel.
*Conversational verbal English skills and proper etiquette knowledge.
*This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 20 lbs. You must also be able to stand for an entire shift.
*Time management and organizational are very essential.
* Be available to work Saturday or Sunday or both days.
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to details. Work well in any team assigned.
*Must be able to effectively communicate verbally with all levels of guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner.
