OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assuring the cleanliness and orderliness of arriving guests rooms. This position ensures a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position is essential in upholding the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in industrial cleaning or custodial roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with hotel or hospitality cleaning standards is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required during cleaning tasks.
  • Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment is beneficial.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Completes check list to report cleanliness of all assigned areas.
  • Inspects guest rooms after Room Attendant.
  • Carry out needed cleaning tasks using appropriate equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
  • Will be responsible for cleaning rooms when needed.
  • Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, fixtures, and furnishings.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
  • Respond promptly to requests from guests or management regarding additional cleaning needs.
  • Assist with laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
