As a member of the Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort team, you will meet and engage with guests who have arrived to enjoy all the Great Smoky Mountains have to offer and help them experience our world-class amenities such as the state-of-the-art Wild Bear Falls water park.Job DescriptionThe Housekeeping/Runner is a critical member of the housekeeping team, responsible for providing support to housekeepers and ensuring that guest rooms and common areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked. The ideal candidate will be a hard worker with a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and attention to detail.In this exciting role, you will:Provide support to housekeepers by delivering supplies, removing trash, and cleaning common areasDeliver requested items to guest units promptly and efficientlyGreet guests and respond to their requests in a friendly and helpful mannerStock linen closets and other storage areasWalk the property daily to ensure cleanliness and a welcoming environmentReport any maintenance issues to the housekeeping supervisorMaintain a clean and organized work areaAssist in training of team membersRespond to owner or guest complaints in a professional and timely mannerHelp complete projects as neededAssist other departments or areas when and where neededTo excel in this role, you must embody our core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic.
