Saskatoon Services for Seniors is looking for a proficient and conscientious Housekeeper to join our team and participate in our mission of providing home support services to older adults (55+), seniors and physically and mentally challenged individuals who want to remain in their own homes.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Vacuuming rugs and furniture
• Sweeping and washing floors
• Dusting and general tidying
• Cleaning stove and/or fridge
• Cleaning cupboards and closets
• Cleaning the bathroom: tub, sink, toilet and bath aids
• Preparing light meals
• Companionship

Requirements of candidates are:

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Ability to speak and write English at an average to high adult level
• Ability to lift, push or pull 20 pounds
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach
• Complete a criminal background check and provide 3 professional references
• Must possess a valid driver’s license. Having a reliable vehicle is required.
• Being punctual, reliable and honest

We provide a work environment which has:

• Part-Time/Casual shifts, which are available between 9AM – 6PM weekdays. NO WEEKENDS OR STAT HOLIDAYS for ideal work/life balance! Shifts range from a minimum of 3 to 8 hours per day, and you must have open availability during operating hours. We assign consistent days and hours each week to provide continuous care to the clients.
• Competitive Pay – starting wage is $15.00/hr plus travel time between clients.
