Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the incumbent supervises and coordinates the activities of the housekeeping department of the residence to maintain the private and common areas in accordance with current hygiene and cleanliness standards. They participate in the management of human, financial, and technical resources of the department while respecting the allocated budgets. They also participate in housekeeping tasks as needed. Particular attention is given to safety and the protection of property while ensuring maintenance of equipment and managing inventory of products used in their department.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of the housekeeping department
  • Plan and organize cleaning schedules for the residence’s common areas and resident apartments according to their needs. Meet with new residents receiving services to establish work schedules
  • Meet with residents and/or their family members as needed to receive complaints, find solutions, implement them, and report back to management
  • Manage inventories by rotating, renewing, and supplying stock to meet demand and avoid shortages. Ensure availability of necessary products and materials for the team
  • Submit order requests to management following established procedures and standards
  • Ensure that housekeeping quality standards are applied
  • Perform cleaning tasks as required
  • Coordinate the work of housekeeping employees, distribute tasks according to their competencies, and set schedules. Ensure their training, periodically evaluate their performance, and manage conflicts when necessary
