Description

Dalhousie Castle, Scotland’s oldest inhabited castle, is currently undergoing a £5 million refurbishment to elevate its facilities while preserving its historic charm. As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role during this transformation, ensuring that both newly refurbished and existing areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management

  • Supervise daily housekeeping operations, ensuring standards are met across refurbished rooms, public areas, heritage spaces, and spa facilities.
  • Support the Executive Housekeeper with team scheduling, training, and performance management during a time of operational change.
  • Inspire, guide, and coach the housekeeping team to maintain consistency across refurbished and non-refurbished areas during the transition.

QUALITY CONTROL & GUEST EXPERIENCE

  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public spaces—including refurbished suites—to ensure brand and safety standards are upheld.
  • Manage priorities in real-time to support VIP arrivals, weddings, and spa experiences, especially as refurbished areas open.
  • Handle guest feedback with professionalism and ensure rapid follow-up on service recovery where needed.
