About the Role: We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Element Tukwila Hotel. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will help ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas. You will assist the Director of Housekeeping in supervising a team of Room Attendants, Laundry Attendants, and Housepersons, and ensure they are trained and equipped to provide exceptional service to our guests. Your main goal will be to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for our guests to enjoy during their stay! :-) Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent preferred * 2+ years of experience in hotel housekeeping operations * 1+ years of experience in a supervisory/inspector role preferred * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with hotel property management systems * Experience with using Microsoft Office applications and basic computer use * (Bilingual in English and Tagalog/Spanish applicants are encouraged to apply!) Responsibilities: * Supervise and assist in training housekeeping staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide exceptional service to our guests * Inspect & assist in cleaning guest rooms and public areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained up to Marriott standards * Coordinate with other departments to ensure that guest requests are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner * Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment * Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations * Handle any other duties assigned as requested by the Director of Housekeeping/MOD Physical Requirements: • Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift. • Must be able to access and navigate the facility without assistance. • Employees are required to adhere to safety requirements by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment & footwear. • Work is routine and repetitive in nature and may require strenuous physical exertion at times, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

Supervise and train housekeeping staff to maintain guest rooms and public areas according to Marriott standards. Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and manage housekeeping inventory and safety compliance.
