Description We’re looking for a dependable and skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to become a key part of our team. In this role, you’ll use your expertise in housekeeping and employee supervision to keep operations running smoothly. We offer a generous benefit package including: Free meal with each shift, prepared fresh daily Discounted bus pass Employee discounts on hotel rooms and restaurant purchases Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Pet Insurance Employee Assistance Program 401(k) The successful candidate will: Supervise and inspect the cleaning of guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of house; ensure compliance with accident and loss prevention policies, health and sanitation standards and to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction Issue assignments to staff reviewing special requests and areas of concentration to ensure a smooth flow of the housekeeping operation. Issue supplies/goods to staff at beginning of shift in order to control inventory and ensure proper supplies are available while controlling expenses. Log items into the Lost and Found and maintain controls to ensure guest satisfaction. Clean guest rooms on an as-needed basis including but not limited to: cleaning a variety of surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending and stooping. Strip and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements Must be 18 years or older Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a room attendant Must have the ability to communicate in English. Can communicate well with guests and associates. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms over head to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and customers.

Responsibilities

Supervise and inspect the cleaning of guest rooms and public areas to ensure high sanitation standards and guest satisfaction. Manage staff assignments, control inventory of supplies, and perform cleaning duties on an as-needed basis.
