Description
Description At Gravity Haus, we believe in creating powerful moments — for our guests, our members, and our team. We’re looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor who is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in leading by example. You’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience while fostering a supportive and high-performing housekeeping team. This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, organized, and dedicated to ensuring that every room and common space reflects the Gravity Haus commitment to comfort, sustainability, and excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the housekeeping and laundry teams to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and presentation across all guest rooms and public spaces. Build daily housekeeping boards based on arrivals, departures, stayovers, VIPs, and special requests. Communicate closely with the Front Desk each day to prioritize early arrivals, late checkouts, and VIP guests. Ensure the consistent execution of Gravity Haus service standards and attention to detail in every room. Train, coach, and develop team members to ensure safety, efficiency, and growth — creating a positive and motivated work environment. Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and workload distribution based on occupancy and operational needs. Oversee daily use of Alice (or equivalent task management software) to track and resolve housekeeping and guest requests efficiently. Maintain housekeeping equipment, carts, and tools in proper working order and ensure adequate supply levels at all times. Monitor and control linen usage, cleaning supplies, and amenity inventory to minimize waste and stay within budget. Track minibar refills and usage accurately. Review invoices, code expenses, and assist in managing monthly budgets to achieve bottom-line goals. Coordinate regularly with Maintenance to report and resolve room or facility issues promptly. Participate in the hiring, training, and retention of team members while fostering a pipeline of future leaders. Promote teamwork and clear communication across all Gravity Haus departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. Serve as a Gravity Haus ambassador — embodying our brand, mission, and hospitality standards. Understand and support a 24/7 hospitality operation, including weekends, holidays, and flexible scheduling as needed. What We’re Looking For Previous experience in housekeeping leadership (Supervisor or Senior Attendant role) within a hotel or resort setting. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to motivate, train, and lead a diverse team. Proficiency in English; Spanish language skills preferred. Experience using task management and property management software (e.g., Alice, Opera, or similar). Strong attention to detail, with the ability to balance efficiency and quality. Flexible, hands-on leader willing to step in wherever needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements. Comfortable working on varying schedules including weekends and holidays.
