JOB PURPOSE
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests experience exceptional comfort and cleanliness. Collaborating closely with the Head of Housekeeping, you will lead our dedicated team to maintain impeccable standards across all guest rooms, family suites, and public areas.
Your responsibilities will include assigning tasks, supporting staff, monitoring outcomes, and reporting issues to department managers. In the absence of the Head of Housekeeping, you will oversee daily operations to ensure a seamless workflow.

Your focus on exceptional customer service, coupled with a proactive approach to health and safety, will create a welcoming and secure environment for both guests and staff.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Head of Housekeeping with rota scheduling to ensure that that the department is always adequately staffed depending on occupancy and managed efficiently whilst still controlling wage costs, completing weekly rotas as required.
- Monitor arrivals and departures to plan and allocate team resource to ensure guest rooms are prepared ready for customer arrivals.
- Monitoring housekeeping team to ensure they are punctual and adhere to the company’s uniform standards. Ensure staffing, time sheets, wages, holidays, and absences are managed and kept in line with company HR policies.
- Ensure guest rooms, family suites and public areas are prepared and cleaned as detailed by the procedure and support the Housekeeping Team members as necessary.
- With the Head of Housekeeping manage the housekeeping department inventory, place, orders of supplies for the department in line with department budgets.
- Conduct random checks on guest rooms to ensure compliance to the standard documented in the procedures.
- Cleaning and housekeeping duties, in line with Housekeeper job description.
- Support the teams to ensure guests receive an excellent quality of service and consistency of cleanliness.
- Ensure stock control of linen, room supplies and cleaning materials
- To motivate the Housekeeping Team ensuring a positive but challenging working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues and requirements of new equipment.
- To complete any in-house training as required and participate in team meetings.
- Support the Head of Housekeeping with the training of team members, to ensure the health & safety and wellbeing of all employees and customers in line with department policy and that all team members adhere to all compliance regulations and policies such as Data Protection Act, Health & Safety and Safeguarding.
- Support the Head of Housekeeping with the training the housekeeping team on the department Policies and Procedures.
