  JOB DESCRIPTION Housekeeping Supervisor – Hickory Treatment Center at Knox Department: Housekeeping Direct Report To: Maintenance Supervisor Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt About the Role: * Under the immediate supervision of the Executive Director, the Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a clean environment and overseeing all facility housekeeping staff. * The Housekeeping Supervisor manages the housekeeping and janitorial staff, ensuring that all areas of the facility follow sanitation standards and cleanliness in all public areas and patient rooms. Key Responsibilities: * Works Housekeeper positions as needed * Ensures the department is adequately staffed by using various recruiting methods * Provides department specific training and education * Develop and implement cleaning schedule and special project schedule * Respects HIPAA confidentiality when cleaning offices and client information areas * Responsible for housekeeping staff activities on all shifts including weekends * Arranges for preventative maintenance on equipment and submits timely repair requests * Operates all equipment in a safe manner * Looks for performance opportunities and ensures PI activities are ongoing * Activates the Emergency Management Plan when conditions require * Reports unsafe conditions to Executive Leadership * Performs appropriate hand hygiene throughout the shift * Uses personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately Compensation: $16-$18/HR For more information visit us at www.hickoryrecovery.com
