POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising daily housekeeping operations, ensuring service standards are met, and providing hands-on support and leadership to the housekeeping team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
  • Understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
  • Hospitality qualification or equivalent experience highly regarded
  • Working rights in Australia
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of room attendants and public area cleaners
  • Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure standards are maintained
  • Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to new and existing team members
  • Assist with scheduling and rostering staff to meet operational requirements
  • Monitor stock levels and report supply needs to management
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety and infection control protocols
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve any housekeeping-related issues
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning assignments, attendance, and maintenance needs
  • Lead by example by maintaining a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming
