JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping team within a hotel environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a hotel or hospitality setting is essential.
  • Strong background in janitorial services, with an understanding of cleaning techniques and products used in the industry.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Ability to lead by example, motivating team members to achieve their best performance.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required by hotel operations. Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
  • Train new housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules to optimise productivity while ensuring high standards are met consistently.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery throughout the hotel.
