Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Housekeeping Floor Supervisor will support senior management and the housekeeping team to ensure immaculate cleanliness throughout the property and an outstanding guest experience in line with Marlin’s values.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Delegate daily tasks to the housekeeping team, ensuring all areas are appropriately covered.
  • Support and mentor the team, providing guidance and upskilling where needed.
  • Monitor room availability in coordination with the Front Desk and Reservations teams.
  • Manage housekeeping schedules and rosters in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager, including holiday planning and overtime management.
  • Maintain accurate housekeeping logs, including maintenance and lost property records.
  • Ensure stock and linen levels are maintained and stores are kept clean and orderly.
  • Uphold communication between departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure cleaning equipment is in safe working order and health & safety protocols are followed.
  • Promote the hotel as a top destination for repeat business through exceptional service.
