Responsibilities
  • To allocate rooms to Housekeeping Assistants
  • To ensure that the work is done to the required standards
  • To allocate extra tasks to Housekeeping Assistants, such as deep cleaning, corridor cleaning and laundry duties
  • To ensure that rooms are checked off in the required timescale so that they can be handed back to Reception ready for guest check in time
  • Responsible for standards of cleanliness and maintenance of all floor and housekeeping areas
  • Turndown duties
  • To ensure effective staff rotas
  • To oversee the housekeeping department in absence of the Head Housekeeper
  • Responsible for maintenance checks of all areas (including spotting of damage and wear and tear, making sure it is documented and followed up)
  • To ensure all the Housekeeping team adhere to all housekeeping standards as per SOP manual.
  • To order stock as instructed and needed
  • To be aware of COSHH, risk assessments and Health and Safety procedures relating to the housekeeping department.
  • To be aware and help keep linen and cleaning costs down
  • To arrange staff cover for staff off sick
  • To be aware of fire evacuation procedures
    Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
    Contract length: 12 months
    Pay: £28,500.00 per year
