As a Rooms Supervisor, you will demonstrate the essence of creating an exceptional guest journey. Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities, like Planet 21 What you will be doing: Lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the department to ensure service standards are followed with friendly and engaging service Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests Ensure employees are informed daily about priorities to personalize service Your experience and skills include: Service focused personality is essential Previous experience in a similar leadership role is an asset Prior experience working with Opera or a related system Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities and the ability to lead by example Your team and working environment: Follow daily task with room attendant. Ensure the room attendant are following sequence of cleaning. Ensure MIP amenities are in room before guest’s arrival. Ensure special attention given to MIP rooms. Ensures that all flower arrangements look pleasant before the delivery to the rooms. Ensure extra bed and extra amenities are in room before the guest’s arrival. Conducts daily inspection of employee grooming. Inspects all guest rooms, corridors and stores on a daily basis to ensure highest standard of cleanliness. Conducts on the job training for all Room Attendants. Maintains effective employee relations. Checks and maintains equipment and machines used. Attends daily briefing with EKH/AEH in Housekeeping. Report any sick, irregular guest, and any stranger on guest corridors to the Housekeeper and Security Office immediately. Proper handover and takeover of the incoming and outgoing shifts to be handled well. Report all Lost & Found items to Housekeeping. Follow up “Do not disturb” rooms. Train attendants constantly, supervise work performance and working habit. Prepare inventory for room linen. Notify Housekeeper any damage caused by guest. While inspecting guest rooms and other area there should be eye for detail. Make sure trolleys are parked well in the guest corridors and while cleaning room the trolleys must be parked properly at the guest room entrance. Ensures punctuality, attendance and courteous attitude. Ensure all guest rooms are cleaned. Inspect all work done by Room Attendant.
