HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or management training preferred.
  • 2+ years of housekeeping experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role, preferably a hotel.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to motivate, lead, and manage a diverse team.
  • Comfortable using housekeeping software or reporting tools.
  • Physically able to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs during a shift.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support housekeeping staff during daily operations.
  • Inspect rooms and public areas for cleanliness, safety, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Provide training and coaching to housekeeping team members.
  • Monitor inventory of supplies and coordinate with management for restocking.
  • Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
  • Assist with scheduling and ensure adequate shift coverage.
  • Uphold health, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.
  • Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service and cleanliness.
