Responsible for helping inspect guest rooms and ensuring they are cleaned up to standards, assist housekeepers as needed, provide necessary training. Responsible for assisting the Housekeeping Manager. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Assist with the daily operations of the housekeeping department and onsite laundry facility including scheduling and payroll. Assist with the sourcing, interviewing, culture training and ongoing development of housekeeping department, with a focus on team member satisfaction, productivity, and guest satisfaction. Manage and track inventory (guestroom amenities, linen, terry, laundry facilities, and cleaning supplies) and order needed supplies and amenities on monthly/quarterly basis. Interact with all associates in the housekeeping department providing ongoing and systematic feedback and performance evaluation. Issue daily assignments to all housekeepers and laundry attendants. Assist with the maintenance of the Lost and Found program. Develop, implement, and maintain an ongoing general cleaning program. Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Inspect staff’s work performance within the assigned section on a daily basis to assure that standards and productivity levels are being met and maintained. Oversee the organized closing of the floors at the end of the day ensuring the Room Attendants’ carts are clean and restocked. REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or GED required 1-2 years of experience in a hotel or related field required Previous supervisory responsibilities preferred Must work well in high pressure situations OTHER Consistent attendance in accordance with the standards set forth by Resolute Road Hospitality must be maintained and is an essential element of success in this role. If the Housekeeping Lead is unable to meet these requirements, he/she will be subject to disciplinary action based on management operating policies, up to and including termination of employment.
