HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR

Are you an experienced and proactive Housekeeping Supervisor looking for a new challenge? The Grand Hotel in Torquay is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team on a full-time basis, reporting to our Senior Management.
This role is vital in ensuring our guests experience the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. You’ll be responsible for leading, training, and motivating our housekeeping and public area cleaning teams to deliver exceptional results across all guest accommodation and public spaces.

• Organise and schedule your team effectively to maintain impeccable standards.
• Develop and implement efficient operating procedures.
• Provide ongoing training, development, and support to your team.
• Manage budgets and stock levels responsibly.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Interact with guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, including COSHH and fire procedures.
• Foster positive communication and teamwork with other departments.
• Conduct pre-arrival audits of accommodation to ensure consistent high standards.
