JOB SUMMARY

Golden Leisure Lodge, Ponoka, is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor. We require a skilled and motivated individual to supervise our housekeeping team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our organization. The ideal candidate will have proved experience in staff supervision, cleaning and sanitation protocols, inventory and ordering, working within a budget, and being a participant in the Health and Safety Committee. Job position is eligible for generous health benefits and a regular work week.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a senior’s Lodge setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety practices.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills to interact positively with residents and staff members.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of all spaces within the Lodge to maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Train new housekeeping employees on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
