Description The Job: San Diego Mission Bay Resort is a sprawling 357-room resort, boasting multiple dining options, a beautiful renovated pool, a kids pool, astonishing Bay views, fire pits and so much more. We are excited to welcome a new Housekeeping Supervisor to our Mission Bay Family. In this vital role of Housekeeping Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work with, and supervise, this amazing team, as well as directly impact our guests’ stay. The Housekeeping team proudly showcases our hotel, with sparkling clean guest rooms, meeting rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces. The Housekeeping Supervisor will work closely with the Housekeeping Management team to ensure all standards are being met and our guests are enjoying a clean and hazard-free stay. This role as Housekeeping Supervisor requires skills such as attention to detail, multi-tasking and a desire to take care of others. Requirements At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role. Have experience in a similar size hotel: (357+ rooms). We look for candidates with full service hotel experience, preferable in an upscale independent hotel. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Take ownership of your tasks and feedback from your manager so you can continue to grow. Ability to consistently lift, pull and push a moderate weight Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols Flexible schedule availability Must be able to work weekends, and holidays Fluency in both English and Spanish is a plus If you enjoy being a part of a team providing an excellent experience for our guests and meeting new people, we invite you to apply.
