Minimum of 2 years in a housekeeping role with at least 1 years in a supervisory position.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE: HOUSEKEEPING FLOOR SUPERVISOR

The Floor Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining guestrooms, working areas, and keeping the hotel premises in general in clean and tidy as well as coordinating the daily housekeeping operations.
The Floor Supervisor will also be responsible for supervising room attendants, housekeeping porters and linen room staff to deliver an excellent guest satisfaction and experience.

FLOOR SUPERVISOR DUTIES:

  • To ensure standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness in all bedrooms /corridors/function rooms /public areas are maintained.
  • Responsible for smooth operation of floors assigned.
  • Supervise room attendants.
  • Ensuring of upkeep of vacant rooms.
  • Organise and facilitates the room making process.
  • Resolving any guest problems or complaints when possible and ensure management are kept informed.
  • Check and report any maintenance issue to ensure quality standards and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage guest requests and communicating them to the relevant team members.
  • Carry out lost and found procedure.
  • To liaise with reception on a daily basis.
