We are looking to hire an experienced full time Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee all duties performed by our housekeeping staff. The Housekeeping Supervisor must hold strong leadership and problem solving skills . Must provide proof of ability to manage multiple staff responsibilities with experience and knowledge of work safe practices.
Role will include :
-delegating tasks to the housekeeping staff
-identifying and reporting issues
-monitoring supplies
-room inspections for high quality guest experience
-checks to ensure for highest quality of service and delivery of rooms
-housekeeping staff complies with all safety and sanitation policies.
-develop and implement strategies to improve the function of the housekeeping department
- able to ensure that housekeeping operations run efficiently.

HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Certification in tourism is an asset
  • Proven housekeeping or hospitality experience.
  • Working knowledge of housekeeping
  • Working knowledge of cross contamination .
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to multitask.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
    Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
    Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Assigning housekeeping tasks to staff and inspecting work to ensure that the prescribed standards of cleanliness are met.
  • Scheduling staff shifts and organizing replacements as required.
  • Monitoring staffing hours and
  • Investigating and addressing complaints regarding poor housekeeping service.
  • Providing training to the housekeeping staff.
  • Regularly taking inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering stock as needed.
  • Issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to housekeeping staff as needed.
  • Screening housekeeping applicants and recommending promotions, transfers, and dismissals.
  • Performing various cleaning duties in instances of staff shortages.
