About the role: Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper (EHK), as the Housekeeping Supervisor, you are at the forefront of creating and executing memorable experiences for our guests by giving the ‘wow’ factor.
You will be working in a closely knit team where a “Yes And Do” attitude and strong team spirit are essential. As a key member of the hotel’s leadership group, this position supports the Executive Housekeeper in mentoring and training a team of Room Attendants, Laundry Attendants and Public Area Attendants. The goal is to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel.
This is a hands-on leadership role, combining active participation in daily housekeeping operations with providing administrative support to the Executive Housekeeper

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience and 4 years of hands-on experience in hotel housekeeping operations.
  • Flexibility to work rotating schedules: Tuesday–Saturday and Sunday–Thursday as required.
  • Possesses a genuine, warm presence with an outgoing personality and a strong commitment to service excellence.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods, and occasionally sit, crouch, twist, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance in accordance with hotel standards is essential.
  • Ability to perform essential physical functions including grasping, writing, walking, bending, climbing, repetitive motions.

Responsibilities
  • Begin each day with the housekeeping team briefing, assisting the Executive Housekeeper (EHK) with room assignments and meeting preparation
  • Assume full supervisory responsibility for the housekeeping department during EHK’s days off and vacation coverage
  • Assists EHK in daily housekeeping operations to ensure hotel-wide cleanliness, orderliness, and adherence to brand standards
  • Assist the EHK with daily inspections of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring quality control and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Support the EHK in managing housekeeping inventories (cleaning supplies, linen and equipment)
  • Ensure housekeeping carts, laundry rooms, and linen closets are properly maintained in a clean and organized manner by the team
  • Assist in scheduling staff across housekeeping, common areas, and laundry to meet daily operational requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of room assignments, inventory, productivity trackers, monthly supply orders and Lost & Found items
  • Ensure all housekeeping standard operating procedures (SOPs) are consistently followed; support training and monitoring to ensure 100% compliance
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries or concerns, enhancing overall guest satisfaction
  • Ensure the housekeeping team is trained and compliant with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper
