Purpose
As a Housekeeping Team Leader, you will do more than just oversee cleaning; you will inspire and motivate your team, provide valuable training and development opportunities, ensure efficient task assignment, and conduct regular room inspections. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will be the driving force behind our guests’ delight.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the housekeeping team to maintain cleanliness and guest satisfaction
  • Dive in and carry out cleaning tasks across various housekeeping areas as needed
  • Provide training, uphold cleanliness standards, and conduct regular inspections
  • Efficiently assign tasks and oversee inventory to ensure smooth operations
  • Attend to guest requests and issues promptly for a pleasant stay
  • Assist with managing budgets and communicate with other departments while providing performance updates to management

Skills and Experience

  • A sharp eye for detail and previous experience in Housekeeping
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills, along with a friendly and outgoing personality
  • The ability to think on your feet to keep things running smoothly throughout the day
  • A high standard of personal grooming and a polished appearance
  • Willingness to not only lead the team but to also work alongside them to ensure their success
  • Reliable transportation and availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays
