We’re searching for a Housekeeping Team Leader to work alongside our Housekeeping Manager and Supervisor to ensure all aspects of housekeeping and laundry are befitting of our reputation for delivering genuinely memorable experiences to our guests. What you will do: Assist in monitoring the daily operation of the housekeeping department, including overseeing duties assigned to staff and monitoring the cleanliness of all areas daily. Ensuring the highest presentation of our guest rooms and public spaces is upkept and striving to maintain our consistent +80% cleanliness score. Assisting with new colleague onboarding and training to ensure they have a great start. Reporting/logging any issues or damage to property or maintenance requests. Assisting in the allocation of rooms for the rostered team members on shift. Maintaining an accurate inventory of all stock, guest supplies and linens while minimizing wastage. Addressing special requests for guests, VIPs and repeat visitors. Checking rooms prior to being made available for guests. Assisting the team with deep cleaning projects and in guest rooms/laundry during busy periods. Liaising with Front Office and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have: Previous housekeeping experience, ideally in a hotel environment. Previous experience as a Housekeeping Team Leader is highly regarded. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. A willingness to be a team player and contribute to a positive working environment. Excellent communication skills, both within your department and with other teams. We are looking for someone who: Has the legal right to work in Australia without limitation or restriction Holds a current police clearance (not older than 6 months). Has excellent communication skills both verbal and written. The ability to inspire passion, enthusiasm and positivity in the team. Has the commitment to deliver an exceptional level of Guest Service and cleanliness. You must be physically fit and able to meet the physical demands of the job. You must be available to work a 7-day rotating roster. Weekends and Public Holiday shifts are all part of the job. Why join us?
