Holiday Inn® Preston hotel stands in the heart of the city centre, a short drive from the M6 motorway.
Preston bus station is next door, while Preston train station, a 15-minute walk away, offers direct links to Manchester Airport (MAN). Within a 12-minute drive of the M6, M55, M61 and M65 motorways, the hotel offers limited free parking (first-come, first-served).
Our Modern Open Lobby the space is fresh and stylish, incorporating vibrant colours, locally inspired artwork and contemporary furnishings to create the ultimate chill out space. Here we provide home comfort meals for those staying with us as well as creative specials.
We have 133 bedrooms across 6 floors that were refurbished in 2019 with the design falling in line to match the open lobby refurbishment.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING!

As a room attendant you play a vital role in ensuring our guests are wowed by the cleanliness of their bedroom and public areas.
You will be required to clean bedrooms to the highest standard inline with Company Brand Standards. You will ensure that all bedrooms are well presented with fantastic levels of cleanliness & sanitisation. We aim for all our guests to have a 10/10 experience from beginning to end and you will play a vital role in this journey.
You will have great time management and self motivation and reliability that is able to work independently with minimal supervision whilst integrating with the department team and wider hotel team.
The positions are 16.5 hours per week. working 3 days across the week, these will include weekend days. Times can be flexible for the right candidate.

1. Cleaning guest bedrooms & Bathrooms
2. Preparing Guest Bedrooms for arriving guests to standards
3. Preparing & Cleaning corridors
4. Attention to details
5. Using Chemicals
6. Reporting maintenance issues
7. Reporting Fire, Life or safety issues
8. Stocking of trolley
9. Customer Service
10. Checking Linen
