Shift: 11pm-7am Days Off: Friday/Saturday $17.50 Access your pay when you need it – daily, weekly or biweekly! Here's what you'll be responsible for: * Heavy duty cleaning of public spaces and back of the house areas: including but not limited to moving of furniture, shampooing carpets, clean high areas, cleaning window coverings, scrubbing walls/doors, deep cleaning bathrooms, stripping/waxing floors, etc. * Performs general cleaning functions such as dusting, polishing, sweeping, mopping, cleaning windows, trash removal, vacuuming, edging, emptying ashtrays, removing gum, cleaning restrooms, etc. as needed. * Disinfects/sanitizes areas with use of electrostatic sprayer. * Restock supply closets as needed. * Maintain, operate and clean all equipment following established guidelines and standards. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous heavy duty cleaning experience, specifically involving floor care with commercial/industrial cleaning equipment required. Must have the ability to use power cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, shampooers, etc. Must pay close attention to detail. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with persons of diverse backgrounds. Must have understanding of the proper use of cleaning chemicals and Material Safety Data Sheets. Understanding of cleaning procedures and rotations of duties required. Indoor environment. Works on wet floors. Exposed to cleaning chemicals. Exposure to various types of waste. Standing and walking throughout the facility for 8-10 hour shifts. Frequent twisting and bending; able to kneel, crouch and/or crawl. Ability to lift 50 pounds on a frequent basis. Ability to push/pull up to 100 pounds. When using sprayer, must be able to carry up to 30 pounds of weight on back for long periods of time. Smoking environment. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
