JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Houseman to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a role in the set up and break down of events including but not limited to moving tables, setting up and breaking down displays, buffets as well as handling linens, glassware and table settings. This is a part time position and hours will fluctuate based upon business demands. Must be available nights, weekends and holidays.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience a plus but we will train the right candidate.
  • Familiarity with banquet events and Food & Beverage operations is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for maintaining high standards.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing exceptional hospitality service to guests.
  • Ability to follow directions and room layouts as requested by the guests.

Responsibilities
  • Must be able to lift, carry, move heavy items.
  • Must be able to climb stairs.
  • Move, set up, and break down events including by not limited to: tables, chairs, chafers, glassware, boxes and linens as outlined by our Food & Beverage team.
  • Assist with Audio-Visual set up if required.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Follow established safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Collaborate with other banquet and management staff to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Other duties as assigned.
