Job Description Horseperson is responsible for carrying out allocated cleaning duties, achieving established standards of cleanliness and presentation to meet guests’ needs and exceed their expectations in regard to the cleanliness of the room areas of the Hotel. Key duties include, but are not limited to the following: Assist the Housekeeping team through the delivery of all hotel linen, chemicals, laundry, deliveries and heavy/lifting work Ensure security of all keys and equipment during your shift. Follow guest confidentiality guidelines. Ensure high standards of property presentation, hygiene and cleanliness. Ensure economic use of chemicals and linen. Ensure all equipment is cleaned correctly, that store rooms and trolleys are kept neat and in good working order. Ensure all corridors are free of trays, linen trolleys or cages. Assist with the removal of rollaway beds and cots. Assist guests with general enquiries. Qualifications Service oriented with an eye for detail Have the ability to work rotating 7 day roster Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of team members A hands-on and pro-active work ethic and you enjoy getting things done. Demonstrated ability to comfortably take initiative and work as a team. Demonstrated time management skills.
