Description Houseperson Location: Breckenridge, CO Position Type: Part-Time Non-Exempt Compensation: $22.00- $25.25 /hour (DOE) Schedule: Weekend and holidays always, Morning from 8:00am to 4:00pm About the Role: As a Houseperson with Breckenridge Grand Vacations, you’ll be the backbone of our award-winning workplace, ensuring every corner of our resort reflects the excellence guests expect. Requirements Clean, disinfect, and sanitize all public areas, including lobbies, restrooms, fitness centers, pools, and outdoor spaces. Restock amenities, paper products, and cleaning supplies. Vacuum, mop, and maintain floors using appropriate equipment. Remove trash, compost, and recycling from common areas. Report maintenance issues and ensure lost-and-found items are properly logged. Operate UV light technology and follow safety protocols. Assist housekeeping staff with room readiness and special requests. Complete deep cleaning tasks and seasonally assigned projects. Uphold company standards for cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. Marginal Duties: Power wash exterior decks and assist with snow removal. Support sustainability initiatives (recycling, composting, resource conservation). Perform additional duties as needed across property. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks. Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts. Reliable transportation to/from work. Preferred Qualifications: 1–3 months of prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial work, or hospitality. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment (floor buffers, carpet cleaners). Knowledge of OSHA-compliant chemical handling/safety procedures. Experience in a resort or hotel environment.
