Description Summary of Duties: Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Interact professionally with other team members, customers, and suppliers. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other team members and organizations. Maintain strict privileged, proprietary, guest, and employer confidentiality during and beyond the term of my employment. Adhere to all work rules, policies & procedures, and safety standards. Position Purpose: Provide the highest level of service to guests by cleaning and preparing suites/rooms for the guest. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Clean public areas within the hotel, including the stairwells, pool and gym areas. Responsible for removing trash from all waste bins on the inside and outside of the Hotel. Clean immediate exterior entry areas and windows according to established standards. Operate cleaning equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. Maintain and restock housekeeping closets daily. Work with the housekeepers by helping to strip dirty linen and terry from the room and transport to the laundry area. Bring all lost and found items to housekeeping office for logging and storage. Be knowledgeable f emergency procedures. Report maintenance concerns to supervisor in a timely manner. Wear personal protective equipment when handling trash, soiled linens, and using chemicals. Practice established safety standards at all times. Participate as a team member with other employees in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation that meets the highest standards of customer service. Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed policies and practices. Adhere to the strict confidentiality of all information. Respect and protect the confidential and privileged information of my employer beyond the term of my employment. Requirements Education/Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous housekeeping experience preferred. Licensing: Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License. Work Requirements: Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily. Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature. Acknowledgement: I have read and understand the above job description.
