Description La Posada Hotel is seeking a reliable Houseperson to support the housekeeping team and ensure guest areas are clean, stocked, and welcoming. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of housekeeping services and contributing to an exceptional guest experience. If you are detail-oriented and enjoy working behind the scenes, this position is perfect for you. Where you can make an impact: Assist housekeeping staff by delivering linens, cleaning supplies, and other essentials. Maintain cleanliness in hallways, storage areas, and other back-of-house spaces. Collect and transport soiled linens and trash to designated areas. Respond to guest requests for additional items such as towels or pillows. Shampoo carpets or event spaces as needed. Monitor and replenish supplies in common areas and housekeeping carts. Report maintenance issues to the appropriate department for resolution. Adhere to hotel safety and sanitation guidelines during all tasks. Assist with deep-cleaning projects as assigned by management. Uphold La Posada Hotel’s standards for cleanliness and hospitality. Assist with cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces Support housekeeping staff with tasks such as replenishing supplies, changing linens, and trash removal Ensure all areas are kept tidy, organized, and sanitized according to hotel standards Report maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department Follow safety and sanitation policies to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff Requirements Education/Formal Training: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or maintenance is a plus. Knowledge/Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Physical ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
