We are currently looking for a hardworking and motivated individual to join our housekeeping team. The Houseperson performs a combination of tasks in order to maintain the hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner, thereby contributing to a pleasant and positive guest experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Must be able to pass physical exam, drug test, and background check
  • Must be physically able to carry out duties, which includes walking and standing to a significant degree, reaching, handling, climbing, balancing, crouching, kneeling, crawling, stooping, and seeing
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or carry/transport objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Must be willing and able to work with potential exposure to paint, solvents, cleaning chemicals, and/or fumes

Responsibilities
  • Provides professional and courteous guest service at all times
  • Cleans and maintains all public, storage, and administrative areas
  • Moves and arranges furniture
  • Dusts and polishes metal work and furniture
  • Vacuums floors
  • Cleans bathrooms
  • Removes trash
  • Refurnishes room with supplies, towels, etc.
  • Stocks assigned cleaning cart for work shift
  • Delivers Television sets, ironing boards, baby cribs, and rollaway beds
  • Cleans swimming pool area
  • Cleans outside areas and remove debris
  • Attends monthly department meetings
  • Completes projects as determined by Housekeeping Supervisor
  • Actively seeks out other tasks when current work is complete
  • Participates in ongoing education and training of Franchise and Hotel Management Company
