Alberta Driver’s License Required - Company Vehicle For Use
We are looking for dedicated and hard-working individuals to fulfill the Houseperson/ Maintenance Worker role that will report to the Assistant General Manager.

Applicants Responsibilities:

  • Representing Little Sister Getaways through professional and thorough services;
  • Performing routine, preventive, and emergency repairs in rental units (Fridays & Saturdays, or as needed);
  • Daily & monthly inspections;
  • Small repairs within the rental units (changing light bulbs, replacing batteries) and reporting bigger issues the Manager;
  • Transporting personnel, supplies, and equipment between the rental units;
  • Stripping beds and collecting dirty linens from rental units;
  • Maintaining the Laundry Room and Maintenance Shop clean and organized;
  • Processing laundry (sorting, washing, drying, folding, stocking on shelves);
  • Assisting the housekeepers with cleaning if necessary (making beds, cleaning washrooms, vacuuming);
  • Other duties, as needed.

Our ideal candidate should have:

  • Valid Alberta Driver’s License with a clean record;
  • Availability on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays is a must;
  • Experience with Maintenance;
  • Familiarity with basic power tools;
  • Experience with laundry operations and Housekeeping will be an asset;
  • Keen attention to detail;
  • Strong work ethic and pride in a job well done;
  • Physical ability to perform job duties: climbing stairs, bending, lifting up to 80 Ibs;
  • Ability to work with cleaning chemicals;
  • Ability to work flexible hours and altered work schedule (weekends and holidays) with overtime as required;
  • Good interpersonal skills (you will be working within a diverse team - respectful and professional communication is a must);
  • Communicative English;
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks;
  • Secured accommodation in the Canmore or Bow Valley area (Staff Accommodation is not provided).
