You will also be responsible for ensuring that the hotel premises are clean and well-maintained.As a Houseperson, you will:Picks up dirty linen around the propertyAssist housekeeper in removal of garbageKeep housekeeping storage closets stocked with supplies and cleaDeliver linen to closets, and pool towers to poolClean floors, including tiles, carpet, etcClean walkways, stairways, elevators, corridors and public areasPicks up trash from building corridorAssists in the training of fellow team members as it pertains to their areaCleans front entrances to the units (doors, light fixtures)Ensure proper use of all equipment and supplies issuedImmediately report all lost and found itemsProperly use, secure and return keys to all unitsTake trash and linen to the proper places so that it is not in the owner or guests viewRespond to any owner or guest requests or complaints in a professional and timely mannerAssist other departments or areas when and where neededOther duties may be assignedTo perform this job successfully, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
