Job Details Job Location: NSC-High Point Corps - HIGH POINT, NC 27263 Position Type: Full Time Regular Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Salary Range: $20.56 Hourly Job Category: Housing Schedule/Hours: M – F 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week) This position is responsible for: Supervises and participates in performing the day-to-day activities necessary for the smooth operation of a transient housing facility providing housing, food, transportation, case management, and educational assistance; supervises and participates in case management and housing operations work; ensures that paperwork is completed, and house rules are followed by all clients; ensures client records are maintained for effective reporting and compliance with The Salvation Army policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal regulations. Serves as a community liaison to other agencies for client referrals and resources. Key Responsibilities: Plans, directs, monitors, and supervises the work of the shelter employees and volunteers. Supervises and participated in the day-to-day operation and activities of a housing facility Supervises and participates in day-to-day case management services; develops service plans; monitors and manages case management agreements with clients and subordinate Case Worker staff. Serves as a liaison to agencies providing services and resources for eligible clients. Supervises and trains housing monitor staff and may serve as a backup to vacant positions when needed. Supervises, inspects, and participates in the cleaning and maintenance of facilities, supplies, and food purchases and inventory. Coordinates transportation arrangements for clients. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.). Work is performed in a transient lodge environment where there may be physical discomforts associated with temperature variations, odors, violence, noise, disease, and/or dust under mildly unsafe and uncomfortable conditions.
