We are seeking an experienced Housing Disrepair Breach Solicitor / Fee Earner to join our Liverpool team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and client-focused professional who is passionate about achieving outstanding results.
We welcome applications from candidates with either claimant or defendant experience, as well as Fee Earners / Paralegals who have successfully managed pre- and post-litigated housing disrepair caseloads. Experience in personal injury would be advantageous but is not essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage a varied caseload of breach housing disrepair claims, covering both pre- and post-litigated matters from start to finish
· Carry out thorough case investigations, including reviewing tenancy agreements, repair reports, expert evidence, and disclosure documents
· Draft and prepare a range of legal documents, including Particulars of Claims, witness statements, schedules of damages, and Part 36 offers
· Prepare and respond to interlocutory applications, ensuring procedural deadlines are met
· Liaise with Counsel, providing well-prepared instructions, and attending conferences as required
· Negotiate settlements with defendants and insurers to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records on the case management system, ensuring compliance with internal processes and regulatory standards
· Advise clients on the merits of their case, costs implications, and likely outcomes, ensuring they are fully informed throughout the process
· Work closely with support staff and other team members to ensure smooth case progression
· Handle complex and high-value cases confidently, providing creative solutions where challenges arise
· Prepare cases for trial when settlement cannot be achieved, including drafting trial bundles and liaising with all relevant parties
· Manage small claims and fast track cases efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met and service levels maintained
