What you’ll do Dive into legal research, especially for anti-social behaviour cases, to build robust legal strategies and understand potential actions. Draft and prepare vital legal documents for disrepair cases, and handle legal aspects of property access issues, such as inspections and repairs. Serve as the crucial communication hub, liaising seamlessly between lawyers, courts, and other legal entities, and ensuring all paperwork is spot-on. Meticulously compile and organize evidence for various cases, including contracts, ASB reports, repair records, and witness statements. Engage in client communications, gathering case details and explaining legal processes, ensuring clarity and understanding. Manage a diverse caseload, including possession claims, injunction applications, and advising on landlord & tenant matters, maintaining efficiency and accuracy. You have Solid experience or a burning desire to grow in Property Litigation, whether you're an old hand or new to the game. A knack for handling various legal cases, from rent arrears and anti-social behaviour to disrepair claims and unauthorised occupiers. The ability to stay on top of a variety of cases, including injunction proceedings and tenancy breaches. A deep understanding of relevant laws and Civil Procedure Rules – think Housing Acts and CPR parts 7, 8, 20, and 56. Stellar organisational skills, because managing evidence and legal documents is no small feat.
