Housing Management Worker County Durham Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw) Earn £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum) and great benefits including Health Cash Plan Home, a place where you belong This is a great opportunity for a Housing Management worker to join our team here in Transitional housing. As our Housing and Property expert, you’ll support our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, you’ll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to a secure, long-term accommodation! Typical day as a Housing Management Worker Making sure that our customers properties are homes they can be proud of, you’ll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies. Help our customers with housing benefit claims, making sure that these are received on their rent account. To support the next customers who needs our help and for maximum occupancy, you’ll turn around vacant or void properties within set timescales. This will involve picking up a broom or paint brush! You’ll carry out and record the routine safety and compliance checks in our buildings and communities making sure we’re compliant. You’ll also manage the admin updating records, ordering, and arranging payment for works to be done Fancy going home each day knowing that you have helped change our customers lives for the better? Perhaps you’ve worked in an environment with compliance and health and safety checks? A “can do” positive attitude, you’re proactive and well organised, and able to work on your initiative. Based at our service in Durham you’ll spend your time travelling around the properties in our County Durham patch. Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims and doing tenancy signs ups, To get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes.
